This gorgeous Vancouver home has a rooftop deck over a carport that bridges the main residence to the garage and guest home. The parapet wall with built-in scuppers had been leaking through the post attachments and caused extreme rot to important structural beams, framing, and underlayment. The beams, blocking, and posts were replaced, brand new substrate and Duradek membrane were installed, and the parapets, siding, and trim were replaced and repainted.
