This deck was in need of a complete overhaul, starting with the replacement of the old surface with a fresh, durable Duradek membrane. Before applying the membrane, we installed a new layer of ACX plywood, providing a smooth, stable foundation for the waterproofing material. The Duradek membrane was carefully glued down to ensure long-lasting protection against the elements, transforming the deck into a space that’s not only more functional but also easier to maintain.
To complete the project, we added a brand new set of pressure-treated stairs, designed to withstand heavy use and resist the wear and tear of outdoor conditions. Finally, we installed sleek, black stainless steel cable railings that give the deck a modern, stylish look while maintaining safety and durability. The combination of these materials not only enhances the deck’s appearance but also ensures it will remain strong and reliable for years to come.
