This property is nestled alongside a beautiful wetland habitat, home to a diverse array of wildlife. Given the environmental sensitivity of the area, this project required careful planning, paperwork, and multiple approvals to ensure compliance with local environmental regulations. After months of preparation, we began by removing the existing deck and proceeded to install new footings and framing to support an expanded deck area.
With the structural foundation in place, we applied a durable Duradek surface, designed to withstand the elements and provide an attractive, low-maintenance finish. To enhance the unobstructed view of the serene wetland landscape, we installed stainless steel cable railings, which offer safety without blocking sightlines.
The result is a spacious, easy-to-maintain outdoor space that seamlessly blends with its natural surroundings, allowing the property owners to enjoy panoramic views of the wetland and its wildlife year-round. This deck not only adds functionality and value to the home but also celebrates the beauty of the ecosystem that makes this property truly unique.
