This beautiful home in Camas, WA offers breathtaking views of the Columbia River from a deck that originally featured a combination of conventional and waterproof surfaces. However, over time, the waterproofing had deteriorated, leading to damage in the underlying framing and even affecting the living space below. To address the problem, we carefully removed the old deck surfaces, repaired the damaged framing, and installed a new substrate for added stability. The final step was applying a durable Duradek membrane, providing reliable waterproof protection that will stand up to the elements. The facia-mounted railing, installed by others, completed the project, leaving the homeowners with a refreshed, more secure deck that complements their riverfront views while protecting the home for years to come.
